Is it possible to run an bare metal restore for physical Linux server on new hardware with the actual Veeam Agent for Linux 6.0?

Thanks a lot.

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to perform a bare metal restore (BMR) for a physical Linux server on new hardware using Veeam Agent for Linux 6.0. The bare-metal restore option allows you to restore your entire system to the same or different hardware. For more detailed information, please refer to the following links:

Hi Rovshan, thanks a lot for your fast reply.

my question was triggered by an entry in the current user guide:
The current version of Veeam Recovery Media supports only VMware and Hyper-V virtualization solutions.

Good day,

That last point, indicates that BMR is supported for Physical machine, HyperV and VMware virtualisation. But not for Oracle Virtualization solution.
