Hi Volker

I run a test on my work device and I can see the same behavior.
Let me check if it's expected or not.

A small update.
I opened a support case myself to let our customer support team check the logs.
It seems Windows logs a <Lock event> each time after a machine has started (reboot / PowerOn) and a user does log in to his windows account. And our Agent tracks that <Lock Event> and starts the backup.

We will discuss this observed behavior with our RnD teams.
Unfortunately there is no workaround for now if you want to use the "on Lock Event" schedule option. Maybe you can change the "Back up no more often than every" settings to a larger interval.

Hello Reklov

Our teams have finished their investigation. Each Reboot, shutdown or sleep action generates a lock event.
A backup session after a reboot are expected. I suggest you configure the "Back up no more often than every" setting to a higher value, if you have to reboot often.

We documented the behavior in our user guide. Please note, if the computer stays longer than 15 minutes in a shutdown or sleep state, the backup job won't start.

Hi Volker

No, we don't plan to change it.
It's a known limitation. A reboot locks the computer (You need to login in again after the reboot).
Therefore we create a backup.
