Incremental Backup

Hello,

I have full backup schedule every Saturday, let say 1st Saturday is 5 Aug
Full backup 5 Aug is successes, then we have disk capacity issue so next full backup on 12 Aug failed.
Then on Sunday 13 Aug the veeam will do incremental backup, my question is the incremental is comparing between full backup on 5 Aug and current VM condition on Sunday 13 Aug. Am i rights?

Hello,

The incremental backup of 13 Aug will process data that changed since the previous successful backup was created. If the previous successful backup was created on 5 Aug, then you're right. If there was another backup, for example, an incremental was created on 11 Aug, the 13 Aug backup will have changes between 11 Aug and 13 Aug.
