Veeam Trial - Enterprise Manager not installable

Post by ckx2 »

Hi,

I've recently tried out Veeam Backup & Restore on our servers as we plan to switch to that product. Now I wanted to test the enterprise manager and its 1 click file restore /WebGUI. Unfortunately he sais my trial license is not valid, but it's the only file I have received from Veeam via e-Mail.

Is enterprise manager not allowed to work with trial licenses?

Then may be it is just broken indeed. You can contact our sales to get a replacement one.

Some obvious things to check too - is the license file for correct product version (open it with the notepad), and are you installing the same/correct EM version? Also, in my previous life I've seen some issues trying to import the license file from a shared folder, so try putting it locally first.

Transferring it to my local folder first did it! Thanks!
