Monitoring multiple B&R installations

Post by TonioRoffo »

Hello,

Currently we have multiple B&R configurations running at our clients. Monitoring is currently happening with Datto RMM, based on some event logs, but it's not detailed enough to run completely automatic (for example, failing SOBR offloads can't be traced to a specific job, ..., setting changes are hard to track, ...)

What would be a better way to monitor these things? I was thinking Veeam one, but as far as I understand that's a one-on-one solution - being, I can't run a single Veeam One client getting info from multiple servers at the same time? (disregard the network connectivity, that we can solve)

Thank you for your feedback on this.

Hello Yves,
Veeam ONE can collect multiple Veeam Backup & Replication Servers, vSpheres, vCloud, Hyper-V, etc. No problem whatosever. Just bear in mind the requirements regarding your infrastructure, as long you size the components right, the solution will work as intended:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/one/d ... ml?ver=120

We have Customers with hundreds of VBR Servers, and dozens of thousand VMs on a single VONE installation without major issues on reporting on jobs.

I would totally recommend you a trial key, and speaking with your Veeam SE who can assist if something doesn't go as planned.

thank you
