StoreOnce 5200 Inmutability

Post by SerSunal »

Hello everyone.
I make the following query. I have a StoreOnce 5200 that has a volume used as a Veeam 11 repository. I also have a Veeam 12 and I want to generate another volume on the same StoreOnce to use on the Veeam 12 to use the immutability functionality. From what I see in the documentation that is required regarding StoreOnce, double authentication has to be enabled. So the question is whether enabling double authentication for the volume that Veeam 12 will use as a repository alters the volume that Veeam 11 is using.
Thank you.

DA is enabled for the entire StoreOnce so affects all the Catalyst Stores created. But in your case, you should be fine since Veeam B&R v11 knows nothing about it and should continue to work normally. To be fair though - we haven't tested this.
