Feature Request - History of Failover Plans

Post by TrevorBell » 1 person likes this post

Hi All,

Just a thought ... How about showing in the History pane under Restore - Failover Jobs ?

Reason for this is it would be a quick way at a glance to see when you last invoked failed over plans. This is important if challenged by auditors to show quickly when and how any times we have practiced our failover DR tests it would be easy to show. I`m sure this is just showing already available data just under History / Restore /

Keep up the good work guys!

Thanks

Guys,

When i invoke via Veeam Cloud Connect the jobs do not show in this History Pane. Seeing as VCC instigates the failover can these jobs be shown too ? as currently they do not i believe. The information currently shown is very limited and the job session would also be good to be shown not just operation started and finished. @veremin i have sent you a message with some detailed screenshots.

Thanks

Trev

+1

I have the same request from customers. I do not see the failover plan history for VCC failover plans.

Correct, the R&D team confirmed that for Cloud Connect deployments the failover plan historical information is not currently available. We've tracked the issue for fixing in the next product versions (post v12.1). Thanks!

Is there another way to get the historical session details for the failover plan?
The tenants need to record this information in the DR testing documentation for compliance and audit purposes.

Unfortunately, not, as the historical information is not visible on the tenant's side as well. This issue is also tracked for fixing in future product versions. Thanks!
