Hello!
User lost the metafile for backing up his old computer in *.mfi format. He needs very important files from there. The agent does not open a *.mfi file without metadata. Can I pull the files out?

Re: Can i get data from *.MFI file
Hello Alexander
MFI doesn't seem to be a format used by any Veeam product. When I'm looking up this filetype, I get HDClone MFI images or some relation to Win98rk Files.
Our Veeam Agent can write and read the following filetypes for image level or file level backups:
- VBM --> Metadata
- VBK --> Full backup
- VIB --> incremental backup
Best,
Fabian
