hello everyone,
i have a problem with changing the retention policy. i have created an object storage and then assigned this as a repository. so far everything is fine. unfortunately i have only used 30 days instead of 1 year for the retention policy. now i would like to change this, but this is not working.
i have deleted everything again (storag, repository and also the local cache directory. i have also deleted all files in the bucket.
if i now create everything again - also with a new name - then the repository creation says 30 days again and i can't change it.
What do I have to do?
thanks
jeff

Re: changing retention policy after new install still the same
Hello Jmc
Was it an immutable repository for backup copy jobs?
Immutability cannot be extended or lowered in the current version of VB365.
Even if you delete the content of the bucket, the objects will still be available as deleted versions on the bucket.
Please create a new empty bucket if you want to change the retention.
Delete your old bucket after all objects (also deleted ones) are out of their object lock period.
Best,
Fabian
