Hi
My current (old) system has 3 hosts and vcenter 6.7.
And it also includes Veeam 11 backup and replication.
My new system is HCI with vSphere 8.0.
both system can access each other
I'm using Veeam replication to migrate all vm's from old system to new system. and successfully completed.
But only the Oracle database VM is left, it takes too much time.
Speed 4-8m/s which I need to finish in 24 hrs.
I try replication with backup file, also slow.
I would like to know if other methods can be used besides replication.
For example, backup the entire VM, then restore it to the new system.
Because I have a backup file for this VM.
Thank you for all the answers.

Re: Move VM-guest to another Datacenter
Hi, backup and restore would work of course. Also there's Quick Migration - but if replication between the two data centers is so slow, then I guess there's no point in trying. Thanks!
