Hi,

We are trying Veeam ONE v12 with vCloud Director Infrastructure connected.

Could you clarify on a few queries:
1. Monitoring - Can we create a unified view/dashboard which reflects the visibility of Veeam backup status of all the VMs involved in Organization/Org VDC/vAPP ?
2. Reporting - Veeam One report for Backups failure/success based on Organization/OrgVDC/vAPP/VM ?

Hello,

For monitoring purposes, it is possible to utilize Data Protection tab by applying a filter by the platform on a filtering panel.
The report you are looking at is most probably the Workload Protection History report.
Please take a look and let us know if you need something more specific.

Thank you for your feedback. Actually, we're seeking for more specific or more granular features:

The Data Protection > Filter by VMWare Cloud Director looks good, however, is there any way to filter the view/dashboard more specific that provide Veeam backup status base on Organization/Org VDC/vAPP ?

Same go for Veeam One report. For example, Backups failure/success filter by Organization/Org VDC/vAPP ?

Hello Mogan,

I see, correct, the Data Protection tab is not customizable much. We are continuously working on improving our dashboards and views in future versions.
However, I believe for the reporting you could utilize Business View groping and run a report against such groups. Have you tried them? It is limited by VI infrastructure and does not include VCD objects but still might help using tags.
