Hardware VSS Provider

Hi,

We are trying to backup a Physical Windows Server using storage snapshots. However it keeps failing with messages "Failed to create VSS snapshot using Veeam VSS Hardware Provider. Failing over to the Microsoft VSS Software Provider".

My questions are
1. Does VBR install the VSS hardware provider?
2. if VBR will not install the VSS hardware provider, should I install it in the Windows computer agent?
3. Do I need to install also the hardware VSS provider to the off-host proxy server?

Hello,
this is how it should look on the proxy server. Everything gets installed automatically. If that does not work, I suggest to check with support. Please post the case number for reference
