P2V with VAW only possible? (without full install Veeam B&R)

Hello,
I would like to create a Hyper-V from a VAW Backup.
Am I right, that this is not possible without full B&R installation. i.e. there is no Hyper-V plugin or recovery option in VAW?
What I've already tried was using disk2vhd but this only works on a running system.

You could backup the server you want to P2V then create a blank Hyper-V VM boot that off the recovery media and do a volume-level restore.

Hi,

You can use Instant VM Recovery from VAW backup, once the machine is booted you can finalize instant recovery and continue using such machine as a VM. Thanks!
