Hello,
I would like to submit a feature request for "Veeam Backup on Azure".
Currently, an Azure file can only be backed up with a snapshot. Can you please add the feature that "Azure File" can also be backed up to DISK/Blob?
Thank you!
Best regards,
Miklas

Re: Feature Request: Backup Azure File to disk
Hi Miklas!
You can use Veeam Backup & Replication NAS Backup feature for that. Please, refer to this Veeam KB article for more information.

Re: Feature Request: Backup Azure File to disk
Hi Iyudmila ,
Thank you! I am aware of the possibility. But I would like to see integration in VBA, because then there is no need to run an extra VBR server for Azure (file) backups.

Re: Feature Request: Backup Azure File to disk
Hi Miklas,
Given that all new features (workload-related) now require integration with Veeam B&R, then I wouldn't expect this duplicated feature to be natively available in the VB appliance. Veeam Data Platform is a way to go here.
Thanks!
