[feature request] Different DB Engine support for Enterprise Manager

Post by tinto1970 »

Good day all,

I fully understand that it's not an easy task, but I think it would be a good improvement to support, in Enterprise Manager, VBR servers running on a different DB Engine.

i.e.: EM on postgreSQL can manage VBR on SQL server and/or viceversa

Thanks a lot!

Hi Alessandro

Going forward PostgreSQL will be the main database for all new deployments.
May I ask, what is keeping you from migrating all installations to the same database type?

Best,
