Changing AD account used for VBR server and other components

Hello,

Our customer is planning to create a new AD account and change the existing account that is used for logging in VBR server and its components (proxies, backup repositories) they also have SOBR configured.
Can we just simply change the credentials using new AD account by editing the properties of the Managed Servers on the Backup Infrastructure? Or is there something else that we need to do and configure?

Just change it by editing the properties of the Managed Servers. As long you provide valid credentials with the necessary permissions, everything will work.
