SQL backups to Object storage

How can I get SQL backups into Object storage? This is with Veeam 12.1 with Nutanix Objects.

If you back up your SQL servers by using image-level approach (Vspher/Hyper-V VMs/physical computers), just select object storage as a target for the backup job or you may use object storage as a Capacity Tier extent. If you're using SQL plug-in, only Capacity Tier is an option so far.

Both have point in time restore options. Plug-in is a bit more flexible on backup granularity, while the image backup has some advantage at restore (point of exact transaction restore that you can select from list / instant database restore).
