What are the instructions for me to follow when changing the Veeam Service account into just a local account of the backup server?
This is what I am getting when performing the inline upgrade of the Veeam Backup Server as the existing service account has the privilege of Domain Administrator and SQL Server db owner.
Do I also need to change anything that has the *Veeam* in the backup server 'Services' console with Local account?
May I ask, why are you not using the recommended "LOCAL SYSTEM" account?
If you provide your own service account, make sure to use an account with "local Administrator" permissions on the machine where you have installed the backup server.
