Considering moving my main Veeam server to a different subnet but same FQDN, i.e. to our backup site in the same vcenter. None of the proxy or repository servers will move, and the Veeam server is neither a repo nor an active proxy.
Will configuration changes be needed to any of the backup infrastructure? (would hope not, if no IP addresses are being used and everything is using FQDN)

Re: Move Veeam server to different subnet
Hi,
No configurations changes will be required as long as:
1. FQDNs are used
2. Routes and required ports are properly configured between the new subnet and the subnet where all other backup infra (proxies/repos/gateways) reside.
3. Routes and required ports are properly configured between the new subnet and the subnet where all vCenter resides.
Thanks!
