Delete from disk option rest api is not available in published rest api page.

It only display's the delete job option in the api page. Any suggestions/help to use the feature will be appreciated.

Deleting backups is not available over REST.
You must use our PowerShell commands as a workaround for automation.

I can note the request for deleting backups. But to be honest, it sounds a little bit dangerous to allow automated backup deletion over a https endpoint.
Could you maybe share a little bit about the use case for having this API endpoint?
