Can someone tell me exactly what ports need to be opened for application aware processing?
I'm backing up a HyperV VM on a different subnet than B&R and with a stateful firewall traffic can be initiated from B&R to the VM on a different subnet.
But when it's time for the VM to transfer SQL transaction logs, it seems the VM wants to initiate that traffic to B&R, which the VM is currently not allowed to do.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Btw, I've read some port specifications, but I still feel like I would be guessing a bit.

Re: Ports for application aware processing
No need to be guessing, just implement what official documentation requires. Note that you can use the persistent guest agent to significantly reduce the number of ports required, especially with Windows guest OS.
