IPv6 Support

Post by dconrad »

Are there any plans on adding IPv6 support to VRO in the near future? I am working on a customer implementation and the customer is planning to run on IPv6 wherever possible. Our datastores (NetApp/NFS) are already attached to the ESXi hosts using IPv6 and we are unable to integrate those into our recovery procedure.
Thanks!

Hello, and welcome to the Veeam R&D Forums!

IPv6 support is on the roadmap for VRO, however I can't be specific about the timeline or release vehicle right now. I will add you as a +1 to our request tracker for this feature.

Hope your customer deployment goes well - any other issues, please post here in the forums (or of course raise a support case)
Thanks!

Could this limitation affect only datastore operations, or are there broader implications for workflows and API calls in VRO?
