Hi all....
during the deployment of the Azure Helper Appliance, it asks for a VNET to be assigned. The VM will end up with a public IP address and private vnet IP address. Does it need to talk to port 22 to the public IP or private IP? Is the private vnet IP necessary if you have a public IP?

Re: Unstructured CIFS Backup to Azure - Helper Appliance
Hello gingerdazza,
Default group is created to server the inbound traffic: Veeam Backup & Replication creates a default network security group within a virtual network with the inbound rules that allow connection using the 443 and 22 ports from everywhere (0.0.0.0/0).
You can use you own network security group or create new if needed (in this case will will add the needed rules) for sure to serve the connection between Appliance Helper and Azure Blob Storage. Whenever you select your own group - please make sure that you have access to your Azure subscription (otherwise it wont be possible to start the needed appliance helper machine). Thank you!
