At my company we send the error reports into our ticket system and the system suffer from the HUGE attachments.
If I have one single error among 2000 office 365 objects it will generate a HTML file with roughly 12000 lines of html code to tell us that.
That is one of the smaller ones I have, I have SQL log jobs that each generate 2.5MB attachment and the notification have 10 of those files attached (all for 1 single error on one db)
This is obviously not OK and I cannot find a way to change the attachment to something compressed or simple in options.
Please advise.
This is not an actual error so I have not created a case ID.

Re: Email notification HTML attachments unacceptable size
Hello,
@Ulf Norgren could you please clarify the following details about SQL transaction log backup job:
1. How often do you get the notifications for SQL transaction log backup jobs?
2. Are you talking about physical or virtual machines?
3. How many VMs/physical machines (approximately) do you have in a job that generates 2.5 MB attachments?
4. How many DBs do you have in total on all VMs/physical machines that are added to a job that generates these attachments?
5. Schedule: what is the schedule for the parent image-level job and what is the log backup schedule?
This information will help me to understand how far we are from the expected behavior from the scalability perspective. After that, we'll decide on the next step: we open a support case or we treat this question as a request for future optimizations and look for a workaround.
Thanks!
