We do M365 backup with an internet proxy with user authentication.
M365 Backup is working fine. But we have problem with licence requests to Veeam.
On our proxy we did only see requests to Microsoft, but no requests to https://vbo.butler.veeam.com or download2.veeam.com.
For other Veeam products the KB https://www.veeam.com/kb1975 works and is relevant but in the KB M365 is not named as relevant product.
Is the KB eventually also relevant for M365 backup, or is the proyx configuration in Veeam the only proxy I need?

Re: M365 License Proxy
Hi Jens
Do you have configured the global internet proxy server settings?

Re: M365 License Proxy
Hi Jens
I just tried in my lab. Works for me with Global Internet Proxy:
I suggest to click on "Update Now" in your license manager and then check Log file:
"C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup365\Logs\Veeam.Archiver.Service_yyyy_MM_dd_HH_mm_ss.log"
If the server still doesn't use the global proxy for your license update, then please contact our customer support team.
Don't forget to share the case number with me.
Best,
Fabian
