Hi,
I have added a network traffic rule to limit the Copy traffic from a REP to Internet and a remote office (VPN). When I enable the policy it takes about 10 seconds for it to become active and traffic seems to comply with my settings. Leaving this on for several hours I see the traffic slowly start to decline. When I turn of the rule, the traffic almost instantly start to ramp up again. When I again enable the policy the traffic starts to respect the setting again, but after a few hours it again starts to go slower then the rule.
When the traffic has this degraded speed, when I change the throttle level higher, it only makes a small adjustment. For instance, when it was set to 80mbps, I see traffic was passing at about 20mbps. When I adjusted the throttle to 160mbps, the traffic increased to 40mbps. So not the set value, but it did climb 100%.
Are there any known issues with the network throttle on 12.1.2.172 ?
Kind regards,
Bastiaan
