Why can't I renew my subscriptions or change them quickly and easily from your website?

Post by robg »

This has been bugging me. I want to add some VMs to my subscription. I click renew, and then it says I can leave the field blank if I don't want to go through a reseller, a Veeam representative will make contact. That person has made contact, and then told me to go to choose a reseller.

Come on guys, what year is this. :) I understand that they get a cut, but I want to click a little plus sign next to my license count and then click checkout with an easy website like amazon and no middleman.

Hi Rob,

I would bring this up with your Veeam Sales Representative -- here on the RND Forums, we don't have influence or work with Sales or Renewals processes, so definitely discuss it with your Sales/Renewals representative.

Thanks!

AFAIK paying directly with a credit is in fact available BUT whether you see this option depends on your country. This was added a while ago starting from the U.S. only but the list of countries has been expanding ever since.

Update: sales folks told me this option doesn't appear until after your renewal date i.e. only if your incumbent reseller fails to process your renewal on time.
