Veeam agent for SAP Hana

I have installed veeam plugin for SAP Hana for backup data and log.
do i need to install veeam agent to perform image level backup?

if you like to do image level backup, then you can use the Veeam Agent for Linux or VM based backup if HANA is running in a VM.

following this answer: if I'd like to do only the image level backup of an Hana physical appliance, of course ignoring the DB consistance, Could I install only the Veeam Agent for Linux or I have to install even so the plugin?
