I have a backup of my workstation stored on tape, and I've restored it (Full backup & Incremental) to my Veeam server in the folder located at C:\WorkstationTest.
I followed these steps:
Created a bootable disk using the recovery media and loaded the bootable USB on another system.
Selected the "Bare Metal Recovery" option from the restore environment.
Chose "Network storage" and then "Shared Folder".
Entered the path \\x.x.x.x\WorkstationTest and provided the credentials.
However, I am receiving the message "The network location cannot be reached." I have already set the shared permissions for the folder "WorkstationTest" to "Everyone."
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue and provide guidance on how to successfully restore the workstation from the location C:\WorkstationTest?
Note:- Restore is working when using veeam backup repository but i want to restore from my shared folder

Re: BareMetal Recovery from Shared folder
Hello Mohamed
May I ask why a backup repository is no option?
If it's a security question (only see backups of this one machine), then please consider to use our Security Token feature.
Security Tokens allow you to give access only for a specific backup in a single repository:

Re: BareMetal Recovery from Shared folder
The issue at hand is not related to the backup repository, as it is functioning correctly, and we can successfully restore from the repository.
In the event that our NAS becomes unavailable or damaged, we aim to restore backup from tape using alternative methods. Currently, I'm testing restoring backups from tape directly to a server folder and restore the workstation from that folder using BareMetalRecovery
Anyway if you think this is an error i will open a support case.
