Hi all,
I have a question about the backup from NAS Server.
I have two servers NAS using the replication between them. I will execute the backup the firth NAS server with a specific address IP. When the firth NAS server not was anable, the second server will take on with the some address IP.
The Veeam show this change with a new backup and execute a full backup, or it identify the address ip and follow with the increment backup?
Thanks

Re: Change the NAS server with the same IP address
If you have added the NAS Server share by IP and the IP gets failed over to another device, we continue with the incremental backup, as it is the same system (IP) for us. We calculate checksums for each folder again and compare with our previous backups. If they do not match we compare file by file and back the changed ones or new ones up.
