Hello Dears,
I have the following scenario I have a Linux server I am required to encrypt certain data on the server.
I attached a new disk and configured it as LVM and used LUKs to encrypt it so now I have the disk attached to the server and encrypted note that The OS is not encrypted.
How will the backup and restore work in this situation?
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Veeam VBR backup and restore Linux server
Hi Faisal, welcome to the forums.
Please check the File Systems section on this page of the User Guide. The behavior is a bit different when using snapshots versus snapshot-less Veeam Agent for Linux. With snapshots, supported filesystems will be backed up as expected, but please note the Considerations and Limitations for file restores from such backups.
Thanks!
