We have a client that has Veeam Advanced and wants to upgrade to Premium to get VRO
The sales rep came back VEEAM UPGRADE FROM ADVTANGE TO PREMIUM pricing?
Correct me if I am wrong Advantage is a lower tier version so upgrading to Premium from there would cost more than upgrading from Advanced to Premium?
What am I missing?

There's no such edition "Advantage".
Veeam only has these 5 editions available:
- Community
- Essentials
- Foundation
- Advanced
- Premium

We're with R&D here so honestly we've no idea on pricing 
but it's nothing like 2x for sure, there's much smaller uplift.
