Veeam M365 v8 Technical Preview 2 - Performance with proxy pools

Dear community,

I performed tests with the new technical preview (TP2) for Veeam Backup for M365 v8. Please find my blog post:

During the VeeamON sessions it was mentioned that the performance will increase rapidly with the usage of proxy pools. I now performed some tests with a CDX tentant (that contians multiple objects with active data that are backed up with Veeam) and proxy pools but did not see any significant change in the performance stats.
Did I do something wrong during the tests or is there anything that I have to add to the config?

Thank you for a feedback, maybe someone already has some experience with that.

Nope, do I need an amount of at least 1000 mailboes or anything else to see the performance increases?

Right, at least some hundreds I would say, if you want to see a big difference with V7. The example I gave at the VeeamON session you mentioned was actually for 50'000 mailboxes test. That's the type of scale proxy pools were built for. And before the release, V8 (which by the way was shipped yesterday aka RTM) was tested successfully backing up 300'000 mailboxes!
