License files

Post by perjonsson1960 »

Folks,

We have a legacy license for Enterprise Plus, and we have two separate license files, one for the VMware sockets and one for the instances (physical machines/NAS).
These files cannot be merged. I have tried and failed.
So, when upgrading VBR to a new version, and I am asked to supply the license file, which one should I supply? Or doesn't it matter?

Hopefully the setup program will be able to determine our license without asking for the file, so perhaps this will not be a problem.

But hypothetically, if I were to install VBR in a new backup server?

Kind regards,
PJ

Any valid license file is fine.
