Changing S3 port

Post by Seve CH »

Hello

I was unable to find that in the documentation: Is it possible to change the port used by the S3 storage once configured?

Job -> Repo on Object Storage -> Object Storage (S3 compatible) -> https://xxxxxxx:1234

I want to use the port 3333 instead. And now that I am on it, is it possible to use a different host name?

For instance, the storage appliance must use a different port, or it must be renamed/readdressed. It is not a storage migration.

If it is not possible, please note a feature request :-)

Best regards

Hi Seve,

As a workaround, you can remove your existing repository and then re-add it with a new service point. Note, that you'll need to delete your current backup jobs first (or temporarily reassign them to another repository) and then reconfigure them to the re-added repository.

Hi Polina

Thanks. I did that and it seemed to work, but it would be nice being able to do that directly on the GUI :-).
