couchbase db backup

Post by bilisim_unix »

Hello, We started using Couchbase database in our systems. Is there any work in Veeam for Couchbase database backup support? If not, we would be happy to include it in your roadmap. :)

Hello and Welcome to Veeam R&D Forums!

Thank you for the feature request, it has been noted! As a workaround, I can suggest backing up Couchbase by following these instructions and protecting the backup files using the available options in our product. The choice of protection options depends on where the resulting Couchbase backups are located. For example:
1. If the backups are stored on a local VM disk, you can protect the entire VM
2. If the backups are stored on a local disk of a physical server, you can protect the entire physical server
3. If the backups are stored on a share, you can use the file backup job
4. For both VMs and physical servers, you can also use the file-level backup mode in Veeam Agent
5. For both VMs and physical servers, you can also use a file copy job

Thanks!
