CDP Proxy initial sync hang on 99%

Post by Tondas »

Hi,
I set the CDP policy and the initial sync is still at 99% even after several days  .
Status = Initial sync, Action = Processing disk Hard disk1 (99% done)
Processing disks
Tried after the first one didn't catch up after a few days, I tried another one
1. CDP Policy two dedicated CDP Proxy (source cluster, and target cluster)
2. CDP Policy test with backup seeding, seed loading from backup OK, initial sync - Processing disk Hard disk1 (99% done)
Both policy same result Initial sync 99%
I haven't found any errors in the log yet, maybe I'm looking in the wrong log.
<38> Info (3) First sync progress bar updated for disk [54595ba8-3f23-469d-8935-8de8fa950889 (Hard disk 1)]: Processing disk Hard disk 1 (99% done)

vsphere 8U2c.
Veeam 12.2.
Regards

Hi, Tonda. This is not a support forum for environment-specific issues. You need to open a support case when encountering technical issues, as it was requested in red font when you clicked New Topic. Our Customer Support team will be happy to troubleshoot this for you. Thanks

It seems to be a well-known issue. Often, the problem lies in the fact that the target ESXi server cannot resolve the backup server's name or, less frequently, the target ESXi cannot access VBR due to network issues.

The support team should be able to figure out the real reason.

Thanks!
