vnet backup failures
Lately I've been noticing a lot of failures for backups of vnets. We use the default "once an hour and keep for 1 month" for vnets in a sub. In the past it's worked reliably. Lately, across many clients, it has not. It fails with an auth error, and then within an hour or two, it's successful again. I spoke with a veeam support engineer for another case, and he told me the reason is that sometimes Azure doesn't authenticate it quickly enough.
So my question is, is anyone else seeing this behavior? Maybe Veeam needs to lengthen the amount of time it waits for authz if the default time is not enough?

Re: vnet backup failures
We haven't received any requests and were unable to reproduce the issue. Could you please create a support case and share the case ID with us so we can investigate further?
Thank you!
Thank you!

Re: vnet backup failures
If it continues I will. I had a support engineer already looking at it with me for another case, and he said this was a known issue and that was the cause. So, I'm a little surprised by that response. But regardless, if it continues, I will open a case when I have time. It's just very time consuming working Veeam support cases anymore, so I only have time for those of the highest priority.

This is absolutely not a "known issue", so opening a case and escalating to the RnD team will be needed next time.RobMiller86 wrote:I had a support engineer already looking at it with me for another case, and he said this was a known issue and that was the cause.
