We have recently moved to using the Veeam MS SQL Plugin for backing up our SQL Databases, and our DBAs are so far enjoying the plugin with a few exceptions.
1.) Being able to upgrade the plug-in as part of the Greater Veeam Upgrade would be a huge benefit, as there is nothing worse than upgrading Veeam, the proxies, etc automatically and then forgetting to upgrade the SQL Plugin until the DBAs start complaining their backups are failing, and then having to manually jump on to 100+ servers to install the updated plugin
2.) Being able to set up separate Mailing lists for these agent jobs (or any job for that matter), as I do not care about the SQL Backup failures we see, but our DBAs do

Re: Feature Request: Re: SQL Plugin
Hi Jesse,
Well, both requests will be addressed with the release of the SQL plug-in central management feature, similar to this one. The upgrade will be done automatically for the servers added to a protection group, and backup policies will have an option to specify custom mail recipients. However, I cannot provide an ETA for this functionality. Glad to hear that your DBAs enjoy the plug-in
Thanks!
