Backup Proxy Wrong Selection

Hello!
I have a problem with VEEAM B&R.
I have several servers. Each server has one virtual machine with a proxy installed.
I have created one backup job with all the virtual machines from the cluster.
Veeam does not select the correct proxy server when creating backups.
It selects a proxy that is installed on another server, which contributes to poorer backup speed.
How can I solve this problem so that it always selects a specific proxy for a specific server?
Should I create several backup jobs of the job-server type and assign proxies?? That would be a bit weird.

Please try this reg key. It will enforce the usage of a hotadd proxy on the same host:

Code: Select all

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication
EnableSameHostHotaddMode = 1 (DWORD)
