I have numerous backup jobs that I need to modify the proxy and repository settings.
I do not need to copy the data.
Anyone have an example?

Re: Change Proxy and Repository for Backup Jobs
Hi Dan,
May I ask you to expand a bit more on what you need to modify specifically?
Most of the job configuration items are handled by the Advanced Job Options cmdlets, but it's not clear for me if you are wanting to adjust settings on the proxy/repository itself or edit the job to use specific proxies or change repositories.
Please share a bit more on what you're needing changed, and we will do our best to help.
Thanks!

Re: Change Proxy and Repository for Backup Jobs
You're welcome Dan, however, may I ask you to be a bit more specific? Is the goal to:
1. Change which repository/proxy is available for a job?
2. To change settings like the blocksize of the backup files, whether or not an Active or Synthetic Full is scheduled, etc?
The link I provided before controls the options for how the job will write data to the repository -- within a job, the only real setting for proxies you can adjust is which proxies are available, and proxy settings are controlled by Set-VBRViProxy, but I am not certain this is what you're looking for.
Can you describe a bit more specifically or perhaps even with screenshots showing the settings you want to control via powershell?

Re: Change Proxy and Repository for Backup Jobs
What I am trying to do,via Powershell (or another automated method), is to change a Backup Copy Job's repository.
I have 20+ jobs that I would like to change from repository REPO_BC_01 to REPO_BC_02.
In the GUI, it's straightforward - Open the console, Select Jobs > Backup Copy > JOB-NAME > Edit > Target > Backup Repository > NEW-REPO > Next > Next > Apply > Finish.
I have not been able to find the syntax to change the repository for the job via PowerShell.
