Failed to establish SSL connection

Hi everyone

Since the upgrade to AHV Plugin 12.6.1.14/12.6.1.15 we have several strange issues with our VBR.

- After Update the AHX Proxy became unavailable cause of a CRL which seemed to be expired (it wasn't expired date based on the CRL is March 2025). After replacing the CRL with a new CRL, reconnect could be successfully done.
- Then we had another issue with the ahv proxy itself and the veeam support told us to remove and reconnect the proxy. We were not able to reconnect the AHV proxy cause of the error: "certificateThumbprint is a required property for GetUnregisteredBackupApplianceInfoParameters and cannot be null" (AHV Plugin Version 12.6.1.15) We had similar issue in Version 12.6.1.14 but only with error message " certificateThumbprint is a required". This issue should be fixed in 12.6.1.15 but unfortunately it seems not.
- Then after some effort to bring back the AHV proxy connected to VBR, we suddenly had two proxies with same name showing up in the VBR console. One was removable to second one could not be removed "object not found"
- After I found out how to remove that proxy from the VBR console, I tried to redeploy a fresh AHV proxy but then another error message appeared: Failed to establish SSL connection.: unable to get local issuer certificate

I opened a case (a week ago) but no luck so far with the Veeam Support.

Does someone have similar issues with backing up VMs on Nutanix and having an internal CA?

I can see from the case notes that backups are working again. That's great.
Please continue within your support case to investigate the CRL issue.
