List Service Accounts

Post by shorn »

Hi,

Is there a way to list all user accounts that are service accounts?
We occasionally turn off the MFA to do things with Powershell in veeam. To prevent us from forgetting to turn MFA back on, I want to check and report this every night.

thanks

Hi shorn, welcome to the forums.

Just to confirm, when you talk about service accounts, you're talking about the accounts added to Veeam as shown here?

If so, unfortunately there are no supported cmdlets for this, but you can use the Unsupported Methods in this thread. I think that should help with your safety check on which accounts do and do not have MFA enabled.

Please note that right now there is not a means (supported or unsupported) to disable/enable MFA from powershell. (Unsupported way will cause many issues, so will not be sharing it due to the risk of damage).
