Regarding the communication requirements below, are they also necessary when restoring backup data obtained with Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure from data backed up and copied using VBR?
Also, will the Azure Windows VM agent be installed even if it is originally an Azure VM?

・github.com (additional components required for the Azure Windows VM agent installation)
・objects.githubusercontent.com (additional components required for the Azure Windows VM agent installation)

If the backups were made by Veeam Backup for Azure, Restore to Azure will follow the restore process as outlined in the Veeam Backup for Azure User Guide:

If you use Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure and plan to restore Microsoft Azure VMs from restore points that were created using the appliance, the restore works as described in the Performing VM Restore section in Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure User Guide.

So in this case it should be just as if you were doing a normal restore, just ensure the required ports are opened.
