Lost EM admin access

Hello,

Due to a severe security issue at the customer, which involved various consequences including removing a trust relationship between 2 AD's, removing some users, etc..... we have completely lost the admin access to Enterprise Manager.

Is there a way to recover it?

Create a local Admin user on the enterprise manager server and add it to the local Administrators group. Then login.

If you lost local access to the OS authentication, you can use the Veeam Agent Recovery Media to reset local windows administrator password with it, by booting from the media.

In theory you could setup a new Enterprise Manager and connect the backup server again.
BUT, if you use Encryption, you need to check if you have exported the certificates for the password loss prevention fallback feature.
Anyway maybe start a backup of the Enterprise Manager first before you do changes.

Hello,

I get an "access denied" in EM login when trying to use a local user part of the local Administrators group on the EM VM.
