Hi,
With the recent Broadcom price increase on VMware licensing, we have noticed that many of our clients are downgrading their licenses to the standard edition. As a result, they are losing the Distributed vSwitch feature and are using the standard vSwitch instead.
Since the Virtual Lab Advanced Networking (multi-host) option requires a Distributed vSwitch to function, do you have any alternative methods to make the Virtual Lab work in a VMware clustered infrastructure?
Thank you.

Re: vsphere standard and virtual lab
The only additional workaround would be to create regular switches and connect them through physical network infrastructure with a different VLAN or completely different switch infrastructure.
This is only needed if you want to operate and span a virtual lab across host servers. A virtual lab can also run fin on a single host.
