VMware Backup fails to TrueNas Scale Backup Repository

We setup a TrueNas Scale sever to be used as a backup repository. When we try and backup our file share from VMware, the backup fails around the same mark each time ~17TB. We disabled compression and sync on the storage pool that we found on another page, and that helped make the backup run faster, but it is still failing.

The error we get in Veeam shows Hard disk 2 (30 TB) 17.2 TB read at 110 MB/s [CBT]
Error: The parameter is incorrect. Asynchronous request operation has failed [requestsize= 1021952] [offset = 17592185007104] The parameter is incorrect. Asynchronous request operation has failed

Any ideas??

This is old issue 16TB is max. TrueNas Core is same problem.

So you can't use TrueNas at all to backup anything more than 16TB?

NFS only on TrueNAS Core, SMB is 16TB max.
