Feature Request: Enterprise Application Plugin support for Windows Failover Cluster

Currently, Veeam Plug-in for Oracle RMAN supports only Oracle Real Application Clusters (Oracle RAC). We'd like to have support also for Oracle on a Windows Failover Cluster.

Hi Matthias,

It is true that we did not explicitly test this scenario, but you can try using the customServerName parameter in veeam_config.xml on all nodes. With that, the backup server will perceive the cluster as a single entity, and the failover will be transparent for the backup server. However, I still recommend running a full backup after failover.

I appreciate this request, but unfortunately, I cannot provide even a preliminary ETA.
