40 or 70 days?

Post by efd121 »

Can someone help settle a debate?
If I have an S3 appliance set for 30 days of immutability do the unused blocks get removed after 40 or 70 days?
In my specific example as a test, I converted some backup jobs from 1M toa 4M block size and ran an active full.

Will the original backups written at 1M be removed after 40 or 70 days?

Thank you for confirming, I knew about the +10-11 days to manage the objects but did not understand how that could translate to 30+10+30
