How does the Veeam backup/restore job processing rate is calculated?
The environment:
-Standalone physical backup server with 1GBps NIC
-VMware cluster of hosts with 1Gbps NIC. VM proxy in virtual appliance mode.
I expect this setup can only achieve max 125MB/s network processing speed. However in daily backup job window, Veeam is showing 300MB/s++ processing rate.
If I do a test full VM restore to same VMware cluster, I'm getting 159MB/s.
How do I view correct network processing speed from Veeam side?

Re: Veeam backup job processing rate
Hi Nas,
Processing Rate calculation is described on this page, and it's a function that includes not only the raw transfer speed, but also other speed boosts like Changed Block Tracking, dedup/compression, etc.
So it's the total size of the data before the data reduction from these various sources and the time taken to process.
